A major achievement of the Heartsafe NWE project so far has been the successful deployment of our real-time first responder alerting platform across all three pilot regions. This technology enables faster, more efficient emergency responses by notifying trained citizen responders in the critical moments following an out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrest (OHCA).
In addition to the platform, we are ahead of schedule on the development of a supporting mobile app, which will be launched in Q3 2024. This app will further enhance operational readiness by ensuring that citizen responders can receive and respond to alerts with ease, no matter where they are.
By harnessing innovative technology, we are transforming the speed and effectiveness of emergency responses in North-West Europe, giving more people the chance to receive timely, life-saving interventions.
